Both the international lawyer team and family of Paul Rusesabagina have been denied access to him as he is held incommunicado after his kidnapping by the Rwandan government. Under international law, Rusesabagina’s circumstance demand for his release and case dismissed.

Paul Rusesabagina was kidnapped from Dubai. It is not known if he was misled or forcibly put onto the plane that took him to Kigali. For the last 15 years, Rusesabagina has been the subject of attempted attacks by the Rwanda government due to his past humanitarian efforts as depicted in the film Hotel Rwanda.

Paul Rusesabagina, the humanitarian portrayed by actor Don Cheadle in the 2004 film Hotel Rwanda, is believed to be kidnapped under the guise of an arrest while travelling. His family has not been able to contact him and are concerned for his health. They now plead to the international community for help.
